Boarding & Lessons

We give the same care and courtesy to our boarders and clients as we would want to be treated. Our clients horses are treated as they are apart of our family.  Any changes of feeding or behavior are immediately addressed and the owner notified.  The safety and care of everyone comes first.

I've been lucky over the years to have experienced several different types of riding and have an understanding of most.  All disciplines are welcome at the facility.

 

  • Boarding

    Services offered

    • Grain fed twice daily
    • Beet pulp added to feed in severe weather
    • Hay fed with grain twice daily-timothy, orchard mix
    • Round bales kept in pasture
    • Full  board includes bedding and cleaning (additional fee for extra shavings)
    • Blanket care and changes
    • Use of tack room
    • Will feed owner supplied supplements and extra feed (for example, alfalfa)
    • Horses checked daily for cuts and scrapes

    Dressage letters are available for use.

    The barn is located on 9 acres with a 6 stall barn and lean to.  The big pasture has 8 acres and a smaller paddock with 1 acre.

    The property has everything from flats to small hills to ride your animal.

    Horses are turned out in a herd.  If individual turnout is needed, we can find a program that best fits you and your animal.

    I understand that once you've found that 'one' trainer/instructor that fits the bill for your riding, you want to keep them.  I have an 'all outside trainers/instructors are welcome' policy.

    If a situation calls for medication to be given everyday, I have no problem giving meds without any further cost.

Lessons

The lesson programs offered are structured toward the individual.  Lessons are taught in a fun but safe and professional environment.

  • How to conduct yourself safely in all situations

Both Adults and Kids are welcome.  From the 'baby's first ride' to the adult who wants to get back to riding.

 

 

Leases

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to ride and not own a horse.  Leases are available with different options.  Either a student who wants more ride time or someone who wants to ride on the weekends or after work.

Weekly lessons are included with the leases.

Horses offered for lease are seasoned lesson animals with skills ranging from beginner to intermediate riders.

Partial Leases

Partial leases are offered only to students who want more ride time to work on their 'homework'.  This program includes one lesson and 1 extra ride a week.
